With hands-on activities to get participants started on their own family history, they will leave both motivated and prepared to continue working on their own. Workshops include copies of the book and all necessary materials other than the personal items participants choose to work on.

Preserving Family Memories Workshop
Great YouTube video on the materials, tools, and methods of home preservation. Led by an archivist and put on by the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum (DHHRM) on Oct 19, 2020. Whether in the attic or boxes under the bed, most of us have family heirlooms, photographs, letters and artifacts that are important to us. Preserving these precious items is a challenge and can be expensive. Led by Felicia Williamson, Director of Library and Archives, this virtual workshop provides common sense solutions to the most common challenges of home preservation.
